Non-profit groups invited to apply for funds in Chino Hills | Community News

The City of Chino Hills invites non-profit organizations to apply for community development block grant (CDBG) funds for the 2025-26 year by Thursday, Jan. 16.

Nonprofit groups that primarily service low to moderate income persons and meet federal guidelines are eligible to apply, including faith-based organizations.

Examples of currently funded programs include services for battered women and their children, housing mediation, food bank, and literacy services.

Required documents include State and Federal Exemption letters, and a general liability certificate with additionally insured endorsement.

CDBG funds are paid to the nonprofit groups on a reimbursement basis after services are delivered and results are documented.

The Chino Hills City Council will award CDBG funding in February to programs that benefit Chino Hills residents.

Applications can be obtained by visiting chinohills.org/cdbg.

For questions or assistance on the application process, call the Community Services Department at (909) 364-2710.
