“Truly Heartbreaking”: Clarksville non-profit’s trailer stolen, impacts mission
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Clarksville Police Department is investigating the theft of a non-profit’s trailer.
Clarksville PD says a trailer belonging to Bella’s Closet, a non-profit in Clarksville, was last seen parked in front of 108 Kraft Street on Saturday, December 21, at approximately 6 p.m.
Bella’s Closet is a non-profit based in Clarksville that provides work attire to women to assist in obtaining and maintaining employment.
The owners of Bella’s Closet say they arrived on Monday morning, but the trailer was missing. The trailer is used to distribute clothing to women in need.
Cynthia Pitts, founder of Bella’s Closet, says the theft is “truly heartbreaking” and the non-profit cannot distribute clothing at pop-up events.
