QUAD CITIES, Ill./Iowa (KWQC) – Birdies for Charity with the John Deere Classic broke the record for money raised in 2024 with $15.9 million in donations.
That previous record for money raised before was $14.1 million in 2023. In total, since the tournament began $189 million has now been raised. Nearly 500 Quad Cities Charities are benefiting from the program.
Quad Cities Live did a deep dive into the highly successful community impact effort for the show that originally aired on Dec. 20, 2024.
