GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) – Several Mesa County nonprofits received a total of $35,000 on Wednesday.
This donation was given from the Junior Service League (JSL) of Grand Junction and some of the nonprofits to receive a portion of the awarded money included:
- Homeward Bound
- Casa of Mesa County
- Kids Aid
- Riverside Education Center
Since its creation in 1983, the JSL has given away more than one million dollars to local nonprofits. Grand applications for the next round are available online.
Meanwhile, JSL is gearing up for the next fundraiser, Viva El Vino, which will be held on April 26th at Palisade’s Wine Country Inn.
