This Giving Tuesday, KEET-TV invites our North Coast community to celebrate the incredible work of local nonprofits that inspire, uplift, and enrich our lives. From now through December 3, KEET-TV is proud to present a series of featured segments spotlighting eight exceptional organizations whose contributions have made a lasting impact on Humboldt County.
For over 50 years, KEET-TV has been a trusted voice on the North Coast, delivering PBS’s finest programming while producing local content that captures the spirit and challenges of our community. This year, KEET-TV is partnering with the Humboldt Area Foundation (HAF) to amplify the voices of local nonprofits and demonstrate the transformative power of collaboration.
Throughout November and into Giving Tuesday, we’re showcasing the stories and missions of:
- The Eureka Symphony: Bringing the joy of classical music to our community with unforgettable performances.
- Hospice of Humboldt: Providing compassionate care for individuals and families during life’s most challenging moments.
- The Ink People: Fostering creativity and supporting artists who make a difference.
- Humboldt Arts Council: Cultivating the arts as an essential part of our community’s culture and identity.
- Humboldt County Children’s Author Festival: Inspiring young readers by connecting them with talented authors and the joy of books.
- NorCAN: Empowering local nonprofits to thrive through collaboration, education, and advocacy.
- Sequoia Park Zoo: Leading the way in wildlife conservation, education, and joyful family experiences.
These inspiring segments, produced by KEET-TV, offer heartfelt interviews and engaging visuals that capture the passion, dedication, and transformative work of these local nonprofits. They celebrate the organizations that make Humboldt County vibrant, compassionate, and full of opportunities.
