United Way provides $190,643 to Ontario County nonprofits, supporting essential services
United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes has allocated $190,643 to Ontario County nonprofits this quarter, part of its $762,750 pledge for 2024.
This funding will assist 22 nonprofits and 34 programs focused on critical community needs throughout Ontario County.
United Way officials highlighted the impact of donor contributions in addressing vital local challenges.
The Ontario County nonprofits receiving United Way funds this year include Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Rochester, Boys & Girls Club of Geneva, Geneva Family YMCA, Literacy Volunteers of Ontario–Yates, and Safe Harbors of the Finger Lakes, among others.
